Advice from Evan Duggan
If you’re thinking about entering journalism, start consuming as much news — in all forms — as you can now, and start writing for your local paper or your university publication. Take advantage of this time to decide if you want to be a journalist.
Also, once you’ve decided, don’t start comparing yourself to other journalists. Rather, look to the ones that you respect and admire for leadership.
